Informatica Names Michael Berry as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned Technology Executive to Lead Informatica to the Next Stage of Growth


REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct. 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq: INFA), the world's number one independent provider of data integration software, today announced Michael Berry will be joining the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer on November 1, 2014. Berry brings a track record of finance and operational leadership at growth companies and category leaders including SolarWinds, IO, and i2 Technologies.  Berry will be responsible for the company's finance, information technology, legal, and investor relations functions.

Berry succeeds Earl Fry as chief financial officer of Informatica. In his role as chief customer officer, Fry will lead the global customer support and professional services groups. As executive vice president, Operations Strategy, Fry will play an instrumental role in helping scale the business for the next growth phase.

As chief financial officer for IO, a global leader in software-defined data centers, Berry led finance, planning, accounting, and enterprise IT in a period of high-growth and expansion into new product lines.  Previously, Berry served as executive vice president and chief financial officerof SolarWinds, a publicly held international provider of IT management software at which, during Berry's tenure, the company achieved total revenue growth of 28% on an annualized basis and non-GAAP operating profit of greater than 50 percent for eleven straight quarters. Prior to SolarWinds, Berry was chief financial officer at i2 Technologies, a leading provider of supply chain software, and held various executive positions at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, a leading provider of software and services to the retail automotive industry, and Comdata Corporation, a leading provider of payment cards and related services.

Berry is currently a Member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman for Rapid7, a privately-held security software company based in Boston, Mass.
