Press Release: Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs to visit Topsil and learn more about green products and sustainability measures

The Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Martin Lidegaard, followed by several social-liberal members of the national parliament as well as city councillors, plans a visit to Topsil this coming Thursday to learn more about Topsil's perspectives on green growth and most recent initiatives regarding sustainability.

In 2013 Mr Lidegard headed another team of social-liberal politicians visiting Topsil. This was while he was the national Minister for Climate. At that time, the main theme of the visit was that of sustainability, too, and a debate focusing on how
politically defined framework conditions have material impact on the growth
potential of the cleantech industry.

CEO in Topsil, Kalle Hvidt Nielsen, says: ”We are looking forward to the upcoming visit. Such an event provides us with an opportunity to present our overall views, business strategy, the use of our products, and internal solutions, beneficial to the environment. Topsil’s business is spot on in respect of green growth. Ultra-pure silicon supports energy efficiency and sustainability. It is critical to electric high performance components in which it for instance converts alternating current to direct current in the grid, or supports electricity supply and regulation of speed in hybrid vehicles and electric cars.”
