Star of TLC's Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta to Lead the Red Carpet for Hospice Care Monte Durham to serve as chair of Capital Caring's Passion for Caring Gala on November 15 Washington, D.C.


WASHINGTON, Oct. 29, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Capital Caring, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization and one of the nation's foremost providers of hospice and palliative care, is hosting the premier event of the year on November 15, 2014 at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center. The Passion for Caring Gala brings together over 500 politicians, business leaders, members of the press, and community leaders to support Capital Caring's mission to 'simply improve care.'

Alexandria, Virginia resident and fashion icon Monte Durham is serving as the Gala Chairperson. Durham, widely known from his reality starring role on TLC's Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta, will greet guests on the red carpet before a live and silent auction, dinner, and dancing to the Original Blue Healers. The auctions will include many notable items including: an Exquisite Wedding Package at West Virginia's famed Greenbrier Resort, featuring a custom designer gown, photography package, an appearance by Durham and more!
