The Opus Group Board of Directors has decided to accept the decision of the
Illinois Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to cancel the Illinois Request for
Proposal (RFP), which had previously been awarded to Opus Inspection, Inc. The
CPO found that the RFP was ambiguous and no longer represented the best interest
of the state. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) expects to
issue a new RFP in the near future for the operation of the Illinois vehicle
inspection program. Opus looks forward to this RFP and participating in the new
process.
