Stock Exchange Announcement No. 9 – 2014 Attendance Halloween in Tivoli 2014

Tivoli makes public attendance figures after each of its seasons as well as in the interim reports.

Halloween in Tivoli 2014 lasted from 8 October – 2 November, in all 26 days.

Halloween in Tivoli 2013 lasted 19 days.

Attendance 2013 2014
Pre-season Not counted 78,000
Summer season 2,801,000 2,860,000
Halloween in Tivoli 417,000 523,000
Year to date 3,218,000 3,461,000

The extra week, week 44 from 27 October – 2 November, coincided with the Swedish autumn school break. Surveys show that from 24 October – 2 November 7.2 per cent of Tivoli’s visitors came from Sweden compared to 3.5 per cent from 8 October – 23 October.

Once again Tivoli had record attendance with over half a million visitors for Halloween in Tivoli which lasted three weeks for the first time ever. The idea was to attract Swedes who have their autumn school break in week 44 and we have succeeded,”

Tivoli CEO Lars Liebst states. He continues:

The first two weeks of Halloween in Tivoli, week 42 and 43, attendance met our expectations despite the rainiest week 42 autumn school break in the history of Halloween in Tivoli. Week 44 has had favourable weather which has brought many Danish visitors including students for Tivoli’s learning programme. We also doubled the number of Swedish visitors. Having caught the Swedes’ attention, we have a good base for future activities.”

Tivoli has 48 opening days remaining in 2014 + 4 days in 2015 as Christmas in Tivoli is open 15 November – 4 January 2015. The extended season and a new 2000 m2 village are among the news.

Sincerely

Lars Liebst
CEO
