New CFO for DSB

Copenhagen, 2014-11-05 14:59 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stig Pastwa will be retiring as CFO of DSB by 1 May 2015. Stig Pastwa will be leaving DSB for a position in the financial sector as CFO of Codan/Trygg Hansa in Scandinavia.

”I have been happy working with DSB during a period where we managed to consolidate the corporation’s financial position. However, I found the possibility of working with a company with an international perspective to be, to coin a phrase, an offer I could not refuse,” Stig Pastwa says.

As planned, Stig Pastwa will be appointed temporary CEO of DSB at 1 December 2014, which position he will fill until he retires:

”I have been pleased with Stig Pastwa’s work as our CFO. Stig has done a great job during a period where we had a lot to do at DSB in a very short time. So I regret to see Stig go, but I wish him the best of luck,” Peter Schütze, Chairman of the Board of DSB, says.

DSB’s new CFO will be Thomas Thellersen Børner from 1 March 2015. Today, Thomas Thellersen Børner is Vice President of the Corporate Secretariat and Legal Affairs. Before joining DSB, he was a finance director at the Employment and Integration Administration with the City of Copenhagen.
