LogMeIn to Underscore Importance of Mobile Customer Engagement at Contact Center Demo & Conference

BOSTON, Nov. 5, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn, Inc.'s (Nasdaq:LOGM) Ross Haskell will be a featured speaker at this week's Contact Center Demo & Conference, taking place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago from Nov. 5-7, 2014. Haskell—who leads product strategy for BoldChat, LogMeIn's live chat and multichannel customer engagement offering—will co-present a session titled, "When it Comes to Customer Engagement - Mobile Changes EVERYTHING" taking place today at 3:45 pm CST.

In this session, Haskell—along with president of the e-tailing group Lauren Freedman—will outline why companies need to think about their mobile strategies as far more than just a mobile optimized website or an informational mobile app. Rather, they need to optimize mobile engagement by offering multiple, intuitive ways for consumers to seek help, ask questions and gain insights, from in-app and website chat to text messaging to email to social media.

Haskell and Freedman will also share the results of a recent study by LogMeIn and the e-tailing group, which found that more than 70 percent of consumers now use mobile devices to research products and services. However, the same study found that many businesses have not adapted quickly enough to meet the needs of today's mobile consumer, with consumers rating more than 40 percent of their mobile shopping experiences as unsatisfactory.

The Contact Center Demo & Conference is hosted by the International Customer Management Institute (ICMI). For more information on the event, visit: http://www.icmi.com/Contact-Center-Demo-Conference.
