FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 5, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. (Nasdaq:TLF) announced today that it plans to open two new retail stores – one in Beaverton, Oregon and the second in Escondido, California. These are the second and third new stores opened in 2014. The Beaverton store will be located at 10195 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway and will open for business on November 17. The Escondido store will be located at 2122 Mission Road and will open for business on November 24.
Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. further announced that it has closed its Chattanooga, TN store.
Chief Executive Officer and President, Jon Thompson, commented, "We are pleased to be opening new stores in Beaverton and Escondido. Beaverton will be a nice complement to our Portland store and Escondido bridges the gap between our stores in the San Diego and Los Angeles markets. However, as we have opened stores around it, it became evident that Chattanooga itself was not large enough to support a store.
