Health IT Finalists Named for Intel Innovation Award

Winner to Be Announced at Health IT Leadership Summit on November 20


ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Nov 11, 2014) - Four finalists have been named for the Intel Innovation Award, a part of the 2014 Health IT Leadership Summit taking place on November 20, 2014, at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta. Now in its fourth year, the award recognizes companies developing leading-edge technology and unique approaches to improving health and healthcare delivery processes. The winner of the Intel Innovation Award will be announced at the Summit.

The four finalists are:

Innovation in healthcare continues to be a cornerstone of the Summit, which will focus on the topic not only via the Intel Innovation Award, but also through a student award for health IT innovation and a keynote presentation from athenahealth CEO Jonathan Bush on "Where Does it Hurt in Healthcare?" Panel discussions on the clinical application of health IT, advances in predictive medicine, population health management, the health IT investment boom, and improving post-acute care will also touch on the topic.
