msg life enlarges Management Board with addition of Dr Aristid Neuburger
msg systems acquires BELTIOS GmbH
(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 17 November 2014) - The msg life ag Supervisory
Board today appointed Dr Aristid Neuburger as a further member of the
company's Management Board for a period of three years effective from 1
January 2015. Dr Neuburger will be responsible for, among other things, the
further development of the actuarial components for the standard software
product Life Factory.
Dr Neuburger will continue to be CEO of BELTIOS GmbH, Munich, whose shares
have been acquired by msg systems ag, Ismaning/Munich, effective from 1
January 2015. BELTIOS GmbH is a consulting firm for the insurance and
financial services sector. Its main focus is on consulting in the
actuarial, insurance-related and process-related areas and in the interface
between functional departments and IT.
With this strategic investment, the msg Group's market position in the
vertical insurance market will be expanded further. BELTIOS GmbH will
continue to offer product-independent specialist advice and support in the
life insurance field as a part of the msg Group.
For the msg Group, the acquisition of BELTIOS GmbH is a useful addition to
its Life Insurance segment. It will enable the msg Group to further enhance
its leading position in the German and European insurance market. In
addition, this transaction will strengthen the msg Group's position in
relation to its competitors in the environment of the msg Insurance Suite,
which offers a comprehensive range of services for life, health and P&C
insurers.
The strategic objective of the aforementioned transaction, which has
already been completed, will be documented by way of the close cooperation
between BELTIOS GmbH and msg life ag.
