ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 18, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), a leading provider of Health IT solutions to the federal government, is pleased to announce that all of the proceeds from its 17th Annual Golf Invitational at Argyle Country Club in Silver Spring, MD have been donated to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Special Love, a nonprofit organization benefitting children with cancer and their families.
Over 140 players came out for a great day of golf to raise funds for cancer victims and their families. Contributions raised from the October 17th event totaled $25,758. With PSI's 100% matching donation, a total of $51,516 was collected. Of this amount, $26,598 was donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and $24,918 was donated to Special Love. The checks were presented by CEO Terry Lin to both charities at PSI's Arlington, VA office on November 4th.
