Vilnius, Lithuania, 2014-11-20 11:11 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On 20 November 2014, the National Control Commission for Prices and Energy approved the natural gas distribution prices set by minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors of AB Lietuvos Dujos No. 14 of 5 November 2014, to be effective from 1 January 2015.
In 2015, the natural gas distribution price cap will increase by 16.7 percent, however, starting from 1 January 2015, specific natural gas distribution prices will increase for different price groups from 5.1 to 9.5 percent. The main reason for increasing gas distribution price is distributed volumes of gas, which are forecasted to be 17 percent lower in 2015.
New natural gas distribution prices shall be published on the website of AB Lietuvos Dujos at www.lietuvosdujos.lt.
