Münchener Hypothekenbank eG terminates agreement on the silent
participation of Isar Capital Funding I Limited Partnership in the
commercial enterprise (Handelsgewerbe) of Münchener Hypothekenbank eG

Today and with effect as of 31 December 2014, Münchener Hypothekenbank eG
(the Bank) has terminated, within the agreed notice period, the agreement
on the establishment of a silent partnership (the Participation Agreement)
entered into by the Bank and Isar Capital Funding I Limited Partnership
(the Issuer) on 24 November 2009.

As a consequence of the termination of the Participation Agreement, the
silent participation of the Issuer in the commercial enterprise of the Bank
will terminate on 31 December 2014 and the silent contribution is to be
repaid to the Issuer in accordance with the terms of the Participation
Agreement. Subject to postponement pursuant to the terms of the
Participation Agreement, the silent contribution is expected to be repaid
on 30 June 2015. The Bank has indicated that - subject to a reduction of
the commercial law book value of the silent contribution as specified in
the Bank's balance sheet for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2014 which
the Bank, on the basis of its financial figures as at 30 September 2014 and
the assessment of its prospects until 31 December 2014, does not expect -
the repayment amount pursuant to the terms of the Participation Agreement
is expected to amount to EUR 100,000,000.

As a consequence of the termination of the Participation Agreement, the
Capital Securities are also to be redeemed on the repayment date of the
silent contribution (expected to be 30 June 2015). Redemption of the
Capital Securities will occur in accordance with the terms and conditions
of the Capital Securities.
