The hardware hosting cage was acquired from DefenseWeb Technologies, Inc., and currently houses Department of Defense (DoD) Family Programs web applications. These applications are used to serve and support Service Members and their families with their adjustment to, and success in, the military community.
The "AIS Cage," as it is known, will allow Three Wire and its VetAdvisor subsidiary to physically host web applications in a DoD-accredited CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) environment. The AIS Cage has for years been a DIACAP and FISMA accredited environment, allowing for applications hosted there to be considered "hardware secure." The cage currently hosts three MAC III/CL Sensitive and one MAC II/CL Sensitive applications.
With this acquisition, Three Wire has expanded and matured its already thriving application development capabilities, allowing for rapid application delivery by providing a foundation for stable and secure hosting which, when coupled with VetAdvisor's Agile Scrum Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the leveraging of Open Source Software, means a faster Time to Market (TTM) with a lower application Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
