T-Systems and Informatica join forces in Germany delivering Data Orchestration as a Service to unleash the power of the Cloud

Bonn, Germany, Nov. 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- T-Systems and Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA), the world's number one independent provider of data integration software, have joined ranks to provide customers with a comprehensive Cloud-based integration and data management service. The service enables customers to integrate data and applications from all sources, including those residing within public or private clouds and those in on-premise environments. The corporate customers unit of Deutsche Telekom is the first Cloud service provider to embed Informatica's world's leading data integration software within its datacenter in Germany.

With this announcement, T-Systems will operate and manage a new "Data Orchestration as a Service (DOaaS)" powered by Informatica. This service gives customers a new approach to addressing their integration needs without having to install any software on-premise. The combination of Informatica's leading Cloud Integration capabilities and T-Systems secure German cloud will enable T-Systems vast client base to securely and cost-effectively meet their cloud integration needs without having to build and maintain their own "homegrown" integration solutions. The new service will be launched at the end of 2014.

"As a global leader in providing IT solutions, T-Systems is a natural choice for Informatica to partner with for providing Cloud Integration offerings to our growing number of customers across Germany," said Dirk Häußermann, Vice President, Central Region EMEA at Informatica. "The alliance between T‑Systems and Informatica will deliver companies the benefit of a turnkey integration solution that would allow them to start quickly and scale cost effectively."

"In today's world, customers are faced with the challenge to integrate a multitude of solutions that run on-premise, in private or public clouds. This "multi-cloud" world only delivers value if it is integrated at the data layer. We are happy to provide a service that combines the technology from the world leader in Cloud Integration, Informatica, and the safe and secure services environment from T‑Systems," says Frank Strecker, Senior Vice President Cloud & Partner Sales at T‑Systems.

Cloud integration across any number of applications

DOaaS powered by the Informatica Cloud Integration Service integrates to hundreds of applications and databases leveraging out-of-the-box connectivity. T-Systems broad ecosystem of partners - including Salesforce.com and Microsoft - enables the delivery of an integrated end-to-end service. With Informatica codeless cloud development environment and the productivity available through its extensive reusability of integration mappings, it offers unprecedented agility to customers.

DOaaS will offer integration capabilities at once, as opposed to customers having to engage consultancy companies to build on-premise solutions. DOaaS powered by Informatica allows customers to access, discover, integrate and ensure the accuracy of data in almost any format from any on-premise or cloud business application.
