no 100/14 Launch of LPG Freight Contracts on Nasdaq Commodities

Nasdaq Commodities is pleased to announce the launch of LPG Freight contracts today, November 24, 2014.

As previously announced in Exchange and Clearing Information 71/14, Nasdaq Commodities is listing LPG Freight contracts based on the LPG1 route Ras Tanura (Middle East Gulf) – Chiba (Japan), assessed by The Baltic Exchange.

The product suite consists of six (6) monthly, five (5) quarterly and two (2) yearly contracts. The LPF Freight contracts are Exchange listed Futures and Options contracts and can be reported by all Block Broker members set up for Freight with Nasdaq.

The LPG Freight contracts meet the increased demand from the market for a good hedging tool and protect against volatility and counterparty risk.

Full Contract Specifications and updated Fee List can be found in the Legal Framework here.
