no 101/14 Nasdaq Commodities launches new Freight Route TC7 and delists existing Freight Route TD5

Following industry demand from the Tanker Freight market, Nasdaq Commodities is pleased to announce the launch of a new freight route, the TC7 - Singapore/East Coast Australia, 30kt MR. The new route will be available for trading and clearing from December 10, 2014.

The product structure will follow the same structure as the existing Tanker Freight contracts with six (6) monthly, five (5) quarterly and two (2) yearly futures and options contracts listed for trading and clearing. The product calendar, market model, risk parameters and rulebook will be updated to reflect the launch of this route in due course.

Additionally, following the suspension of the freight route TD5, by The Baltic Exchange, Nasdaq Commodities will delist the TD5 route as of January 1, 2015, and suspend the TD5 2015 and 2016 contracts from trading and clearing with immediate effect.
