Vilnius, Lithuania, 2014-11-28 17:00 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Based on preliminary unaudited results in the third quarter of 2014 Company calculated 0.72 million litas (EUR 0.21 million) loss compare with a net profit of LTL 5.6 million (EUR 1.6 million) over same period in 2013.
The main causes of the loss - weak dairy products demand and low prices in the global markets and closed Russian market.
Company‘s sales over third quarter in 2014 fall down by 2.5% up to LTL 203.8 million (EUR 59.0 million). Sales resulted over third quarter in 2013 were LTL 209.1 million (EUR 60.5 million).
Company‘s sales over first nine months in 2014 accounted to LTL 671.7 million (EUR 194.5 million), 10% higher compare to a year ago. Sales resulted over first nine months in 2013 were LTL 608.1 million (EUR 176.1 million).
Over the first nine months of the year Company’s EBITDA accounted to LTL 27.8 million (EUR 8.0 million) and decreased by 31.5% compare with EBITDA of LTL 40.6 million (EUR 11.7 million) a year ago.
Company’s net profit decreased by 81% up to LTL 2.9 million (EUR 0.8 million) compare with a net profit of LTL 15.5 million (EUR 4.5 million) over same period in 2013.
