WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 1, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:WSFS), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced that Robert O. Palsgrove has joined WSFS Bank as Senior Vice President and Senior Market Manager for Maryland.

Mr. Palsgrove leads new business development and manages the commercial portfolio for Cecil County and the surrounding communities to further the bank's growth in that market. He also represents WSFS in numerous community organizations, including the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce, Union Hospital of Cecil County and the Cecil County Office of Economic Development.

Mr. Palsgrove has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, including 25 years with Fulton Financial Corporation where he held senior leadership roles at many of its affiliate banks including The Columbia Bank, The Peoples Bank of Elkton and Fulton Bank.
