Stabilus S.A. achieved record sales and operating results in fiscal year
2014
- Full year sales increased by 10.3 percent to EUR 507million compared to
last year
- Adjusted EBITDA amounted to EUR 92.5 million, up 6.2% compared to last
year
- Adjusted EBIT advanced by 10.2% to EUR 65 million
- Net financial debt decreased to EUR 229 million
- Refinancing of financial liabilities was secured at attractive
conditions for summer 2015
- Further major contracts and platforms were won in Powerise
Stabilus S.A. (Stabilus), a globally leading developer and
producer of gas springs and hydraulic dampers achieved record sales and
operating results in the fiscal year 2014. During the fiscal year which
ended on 30 September 2014, Stabilus was able to increase its sales by 10.3
percent from last year's EUR 460.1 million to EUR 507.3 million. Adjusted
EBITDA amounted to EUR 92.5 million, an increase of 6.2% compared to last
year. Adjusted EBIT increased by 10.2% from last year's EUR 59.1mm to EUR
65.1 million. Net financial debt could be reduced from last year's EUR
300.9 million to EUR 229 million.
Further, Stabilus has successfully secured for summer 2015 the refinancing
of its financial liabilities maturing in 2018. Banks have already signed
commitment letters for this. With the refinancing, interest expenses for
Stabilus will be reduced by approximately EUR 13 million per annum.
