Evofem, Inc. Appoints Chad Putnam as Chief Financial Officer


SAN DIEGO, Dec. 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Evofem, Inc. announced that it appointed Chad Putnam as Chief Financial Officer effective immediately. Mr. Putnam will report to Saundra Pelletier, Chief Executive Officer of Evofem, Inc.

Mr. Putnam joins Evofem, Inc. from Providien, LLC where he served as Vice President of Finance and led the turnaround of the company's accounting operations. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Access Scientific, Inc., a medical device company, where he had responsibilities for finance, accounting, human resources, legal, risk management and investor relations. In this role, he helped raise over $20 million of venture capital financing.

In addition to Providien, LLC and Access Scientific, Inc., Mr. Putnam held executive positions at PatientSafe Solutions, Inc. and was a key member of the financial team responsible for MP3.com's $380 million IPO and subsequent sale to Vivendi Universal.

Mr. Putnam earned his Bachelors of Accountancy from the University of San Diego and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the state of California.
