Øyvind Emblem (44), M.Sc. Tech, MBA, has been appointed as Senior Vice president of the Ramirent’s Norway segment and Managing Director of Ramirent AS as well as member of the Group Management Team as of 1 April 2015.
Emblem joins Ramirent from the position of Global Sales Director Spirits at Arcus Gruppen AS, where he has worked since 2013. Before this he has held several international management positions in the Michelin group including Managing Director of Michelin Benelux 2009–2012; Country Manager, Michelin Korea 2007–2009 and Sales Manager, Michelin Nordic AB 2004–2006. Between the years 1998–2002, Emblem worked as Manufacturing Manager for ODIM Hitec and as Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, Norway 1996–1998.
Øyvind Emblem succeeds Bjørn Larsen who left the Ramirent Group on 14 August 2014. Magnus Rosén, President and CEO of Ramirent Group, continues as interim Managing Director for the Norwegian subsidiary Ramirent AS until 1 April 2015.
