Company Joins NVM Express, Inc. to Help Drive Broader Adoption of Fabric-Based Non-Volatile Memory Storage Solutions

(Nasdaq:QLGC), a leading supplier of high performance network infrastructure solutions, today announced that it has joined NVM Express, Inc., the organization that was formed to define the NVM Express storage interface protocol and enable broad ecosystem adoption of the technology. Taking a standards-based approach, the NVM Express (NVMe) interface is designed to enable the full performance potential provided by non-volatile memory (NVM) storage devices, such as PCI Express solid state drives (SSDs).
