AS Merko Tartu, subsidiary of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, has started the new phase of Pärna avenue apartment development project in Tartu Parish, Tartu County. The new phase includes two apartment buildings with 60 apartments. The buildings are planned to be completed in summer 2015. After that, the Pärna alley development will be complete together with ten apartment buildings and landscaping.
Merko Tartu has completed eight 2- and 3-storey apartment buildings as of now, where the company has sold over 220 apartments and 16 are yet to be sold.
Pärna allee (www.parnaallee.ee) is a complete residential area, few minutes’ drive away from Tartu city centre. Each energy class B apartment building has its own gas boiler plant; apartments are equipped with water heating system and radiators, bathrooms have electrical floor heating system. 1- to 3-room apartments are characterized by contemporary and functional planning; the orientation of the building with respect to the cardinal points guarantees enough sunlight in every apartment.
The architect of the buildings is Janno Põldme and interior architect is OÜ Põldme. The price per square metre of the apartments in the new development phase ranges from 1060-1320 euros.
The gross area of the two building is approximately 5,000 square metres and the total value of the new phase of the Pärna alley apartment development is approximately 3.5 million euros.
