Leoni's Supervisory Board has appointed Dieter Bellé as the new Chairman of
the Management Board effective 7 May 2015

Nuremberg, 4 December 2014 - The Supervisory Board of Leoni AG, Nuremberg
(ISIN DE 0005408884 / WKN 540888), during its regular meeting today
appointed Dieter Bellé (58) as Chairman of the Management Board upon close
of the 2015 Annual General Meeting, scheduled for 7 May 2015, until 31
December 2019.

Dr Klaus Probst, the incumbent Chairman of the Management Board, will
retire from the Management Board of Leoni AG upon close of the 2015 Annual
General Meeting. The Supervisory Board has asked him to stand for election
to the Supervisory Board by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting in
2017.

Alongside his new duties as Chairman of the Management Board (CEO), Dieter
Bellé will continue to perform his existing functions as Chief Financial
Officer (CFO) and Labour Director. The other Management Board members,
namely Dr Andreas Brand (48) and Dr Frank Hiller (48), will continue to
hold their offices as hitherto.
