In collaboration with experts from the Swiss federal railways (SBB), the Swiss consulting business Prose has carried out examinations of the IC4/IC2 train sets over the past months. The examinations were carried out to determine whether it will still be safe and financially sound to continue all or parts of the work with bringing the quality of the IC4/IC2 train sets to a level where they can be placed in national traffic as originally planned.
