ATCO Wins NATO Fire Protection Contract in Kosovo


BUDAPEST, HUNGARY--(Marketwired - Dec. 9, 2014) - ATCO Structures & Logistics (ATCO) has won a contract to provide around-the-clock fire protection services to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) troops, known as Kosovo Force, at the 700-person Camp Novo Selo near Pristina. The five-year contract commences January 2015.

ATCO will be responsible for identifying and training fire wardens, developing first-response plans for a variety of incidents such as hazardous materials risks, water shortage and fuel and chemical spills. ATCO will also supply the necessary emergency equipment including a fire truck, tanker truck and portable water reservoirs.

ATCO also supports NATO and its International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan. Specifically, ATCO provides first responder services at the Kandahar Airfield.
