AngioDynamics Awarded HealthTrust PICC Contract


ALBANY, N.Y., Dec. 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AngioDynamics (Nasdaq:ANGO), a leading provider of innovative, minimally invasive medical devices for vascular access, surgery, peripheral vascular disease and oncology, today announced it signed an agreement with HealthTrust covering PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) products.

HealthTrust, which serves nearly 1,400 hospitals, 800 ambulatory surgery centers and members in more than 10,600 other locations, including physician practices, long-term care and alternate care sites, has an annual purchasing volume that exceeds $23 billion.

Effective January 1, 2015, AngioDynamics' entire PICC portfolio, including its thromboresistant BioFlo PICC product line and Celerity tip location system, will be available to HealthTrust members. This is the company's seventh contract with HealthTrust, with its others covering fluid management, dialysis and core peripheral vascular products.
