Juha Pekka Ojala to become President & CEO of SRV Group Plc
The Board of Directors of SRV Group Plc has appointed Juha Pekka Ojala to become President & CEO of SRV Group Plc from 1 January 2015. Ojala moves to his new position from his role as an SRV Executive Vice President. The current President & CEO Jukka Hienonen is leaving his position on his own initiative.
The new President & CEO has worked in the service of SRV for 17 years, most recently as Executive Vice President responsible for Business Operations in Finland. Ojala, 51, B.Sc.(Eng.) is a civil engineer by education. In addition, he has completed a business management program in INSEAD.
“We have a strong organisation, and we are fortunate to be able to appoint an excellent new CEO from within our own company. Ojala is well prepared for the task and shown his ability during a long career in SRV,” says SRV Group Plc’s Chairman of the Board Ilpo Kokkila.
Jukka Hienonen served SRV as President & CEO for nearly five years, and before that was a Member of the Board of Directors from 2007 to 2010. Hienonen will continue as President & CEO until the end of the year and thereafter in positions assisting the new President & CEO until June 2015.
