Shannon C. Dean Named Vice President of Corporate Communications & Community Affairs by California Water Service Group


SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 10, 2014) -  California Water Service Group (Cal Water) (NYSE: CWT) today announced the promotion of Shannon C. Dean to Vice President of Corporate Communications & Community Affairs, effective Jan. 1, 2015.

Dean, currently the company's Director of Corporate Communications, is responsible for overseeing the corporate communications, government and community relations, and conservation functions of the company. Dean joined Dominguez Water Company in 1991, which merged with California Water Service Company, the largest subsidiary of California Water Service Group, in 2000.

Accredited by the Public Relations Society of America in 2002, Dean also holds a Master of Arts in English and Bachelor of Arts in journalism/public relations from California State University, Long Beach. She is the current chair of the California Water Association's Public Information Committee and immediate past chair of the National Association of Water Companies Communications Committee.
