ecotel communication ag: ecotel appoints Peter Zils and Achim Theis to
Management Board for an additional three years

The Supervisory Board of ecotel communication ag has decided to extend the
employment contract of company founder and Chairman of the Management
Board, Peter Zils, by an additional three years, until February 28, 2018.
Achim Theis, board member and Head of Marketing and Sales, was also
re-appointed until November 30, 2017.
With this step, the Supervisory Board assures continuity and stability in
the management of the company. The two chairmen voiced their close
connection with ecotel. 'The re-appointment of Directors Peter Zils and
Achim Theis is not only a recognition of their very excellent performance
in recent years, it is also an expression of our faith in the continued
pursuit of the ambitions and goals of ecotel with the existing management,'
said Dr. Norbert Bensel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ecotel
communication ag.
On May 1, 2014 the Supervisory Board appointed the former Supervisory Board
Chairman Johannes Borgmann to the Management Board of ecotel communication
ag. Mr. Borgmann had been a member of the Supervisory Board since June
2002. In his current position on the Management Board, he assumes the role
of CFO at ecotel, among other things.
Peter Zils, Chairman of the three-member Management Board: 'I am very
pleased that we have been able to work together successfully and will
continue working together in the future as a team that complements each
other. It is very motivating to work together with my two valued colleagues
on the continued realisation of our growth strategy.'

The 'New Business' segment covers new, fast-growing business segments and
niches of independently operating subsidiaries. In addition to easybell
GmbH, which is aligned to private customer business, nacamar GmbH, which
now focuses exclusively on new media activities, is part of this
independent business unit.
Founded in 1998, the corporate group, with its main office in Düsseldorf,
currently has about 230 employees, including subsidiaries and holdings.
