Previously, Head was a Senior Partner and Managing Director, Higher Education Practice, at an executive search firm in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to joining the executive search industry, Head's career was in the family business, Headway Promotional Products Inc., which focuses on the sale of imprinted marketing products which carry an organization's logo and/or message. The organization designs and oversees the manufacturing of products for clients and also represents 2500+ industry suppliers. Head served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer until 2007. He graduated from Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science – Business Management.
