Vilnius, Lithuania, 2014-12-12 15:10 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AB Lietuvos Dujos, legal entity code 120059523, registered office address Aguonų g. 24, LT-03212 Vilnius, company data collected and stored at the Register of Legal Entities (hereinafter – the Company), decided in the Company‘s meeting of the Board of Directors held on 12 December 2014 to acquire (subscribe) 1 998 048 (one million nine hundred ninety eight thousand forty eight) shares of UAB Technologiju ir Inovaciju Centras (hereinafter – UAB TIC), which account for 9 percent of the authorized capital of UAB TIC. The par value per share is LTL 1 (one litas) and the issue price thereof is LTL 1.02 (one litas 2 ct).
UAB TIC, just like AB Lietuvos Dujos, is owned by the state-owned energy group Lietuvos Energija, UAB. By investing in UAB TIC, AB Lietuvos Dujos continues the process of its integration into Lietuvos Energija Group. Once the Company becomes a shareholder of UAB TIC, all issues of Lietuvos Dujos related to the provision of information technology and telecommunication services will be solved by UAB TIC, which serves all Group companies. In terms of economic benefits of acquisition of the shares, AB Lietuvos Dujos will be able to use service infrastructure developed by UAB TIC and their experience in ICT area. Integration and centralization of servicing activities are related to the Lietuvos Energija, UAB group corporate model implementation in AB Lietuvos Dujos.
