Caverion provides building systems for SL’s new bus depot in Sweden

Caverion has secured a contract with general contractor Skanska Sverige to install heating, sanitation, ventilation, air conditioning and sprinklers for SL's new Fredriksdal bus depot in Stockholm. The total value of the contract is approximately EUR 5.4 million and it includes project management and execution. The work on site is already underway and will be completed in 2017.

The bus depot is being built partially underground and will have an area of about 50,000 square metres, space for up about 120 buses. The depot also includes service areas such as a washing area, a purification plant and a wet vacuum cleaning facility.

“We are delighted to have been trusted with providing several technical services that include a great deal of technology to the construction of SL's new bus depot”, says Stockholm Region’s Director Anders Buskas from Caverion.
