DENVER, CO and HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Dec 16, 2014) - Hart Energy and P2 Energy Solutions today announced a partnership that creates a single point of access to the industry's leading pipeline, railroad, and competitive oil and gas data, enabling upstream organizations to perform better analysis and make quicker business decisions.
The partnership combines P2's Tobin Data and Hart Energy's Rextag data. Tobin Data includes survey, ownership, well, lease and lease-activity information while Rextag midstream infrastructure datasets include digitized information on 800,000 miles of oil pipelines, 150,000 miles of gas pipelines, and 400 rail loading and unloading terminals. The newly added midstream data layers also include information on:
- Refineries
- LNG terminals
- Gas processing plants
- Gas storage facilities
- Liquid terminals
Having the ability to view all of this data together in one place -- on Tobin's interactive map -- allows oil and gas teams to identify prime locations where infrastructure already exists or is under development.
