About the Lawsuit

Willbros Group and certain of its executives are charged with issuing a series of materially false and misleading statements during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws.

After the market close on October 21, 2014, Willbros Group announced that its second quarter financial results should no longer be relied upon by investors and had to be restated, which would require Willbros Group to reverse $8 million in pre-tax income and record approximately $14-$16 million in estimated pre-tax losses at completion.

On this news, price of Willbros Group shares plummeted by over 35%.
