(the "Company" or "Kandi") (Nasdaq:KNDI), today announced that its 2014 annual meeting of shareholders (the "Annual Meeting") will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at 9:00 p.m. local time (December 30, 2014, at 8 a.m. E.T.) at KANDI TECHNOLOGIES' executive office, located at 5F, Tower 3, Xixixinzuo, No. 550 Xixi Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China 310013.
The record date to determine whether a shareholder is entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting is November 3, 2014. At the meeting, shareholders will be asked to consider and act upon the following:
- To elect seven directors, each to serve until the 2015 annual meeting of shareholders;
- To conduct an advisory vote on the compensation of Kandi's named executive officers; and
- To transact such other business as properly may come before the Annual Meeting or any adjournments thereof.
