Comptel Has Received Major Order from Indian Customer

Comptel has received a major order for license upgrade and service extension from a mobile operator customer in India. The multi-year deal with a value of 10.6 million euros is a continuation of the long customer relationship between the companies. The order comprises software licenses for Comptel Convergent Mediation and Comptel Provisioning and Activation and related services.

“Comptel has achieved a considerable degree of success in the Indian telecom market in recent years. The number of telecom subscribers served by Comptel’s operator customers in India has now exceeded 500 million, which is approximately 60% of the total size of the Indian telecom market.” said Juhani Hintikka, President and CEO, Comptel.
