Cash Optimization (Mandatory for members handling Collateral and Settlement)
As of April 20th, 2015 Nasdaq Clearing intends to launch a change in the current CMS solution, whereby the collateral flows are managed in an advanced collateral optimization process, taking into account both cash and non-cash collateral to optimize each participant’s use of collateral and to minimize the number of cash transactions to and from the service. Please see the Cash Optimization webpage for more information. http://www.nasdaqomx.com/transactions/posttrade/clearing/europeanclearing/collateral-management/cash-optimization

Standard Exercise Parameters
For options with physical delivery, the functionality will make it possible for members to configure their own standard (automatic) exercise limit parameter (in per cent or absolute value) per member or account and instrument type (e.g. limit of X% for listed equity call options in SEK and member XYZ). All options series that on the expiration day are in-the-money by at least the parameter value will be automatically exercised on behalf of the member by the clearinghouse. The current default limits for standard exercise (e.g. 1% for SEK stock options) will continue to apply to members and/or accounts which do not configure their own limits.

Index closing value as final settlement for flexible index options
New functionality that will make it possible to create flexible index options contracts settling against the closing value of the underlying index on the expiration day. The contracts will be possible to create using the Genium INET Clearing Workstations 1 (CW1) and 2 (CW2) as well as the OMnet API.
