              Talvivaara to publish interim management statements
            instead of the first and third quarter financial reports

Talvivaara  Mining Company Plc's (the "Company") Board of Directors has resolved
that  the Company will release interim  management statements in accordance with
the  Finnish Securities Markets  Act, Chapter 7, Section  14 for the first three
and  nine months of the accounting year  2015 instead of the interim reports for
the respective periods.

The  reason for the change in the reporting practice is that the market value of
the  Company's issued  shares and  other comparable  securities is less than EUR
150 million  and therefore the pre-requisites  for announcing interim management
statements as set in the Ministry of Finance decree (1020/2012) are met.
