Baltika’s consolidated sales revenue from continued operations for December totalled 4,968 thousand euros, decreasing by 4% compared to the same period last year.
Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for December was 4,673 thousand euros, decreasing 6% compared to the same period last year. Wholesale increased by 39% compared to December in previous year, e-com sales increased by 165%.

Retail sales decreased in Baltic states by 2%, thereof increased in Latvia by 5% and in Lithuania by 2%, in Estonia sales decreased by 8%. In Russia, retail sales decreased by 30% compared to same period previous year. In local currency sales increased in Russia by 9%.
Sales revenue for the fourth quarter totalled 15,717 thousand euros, increasing +5% yoy. Retail sales revenue was 14,056 thousand euros (+1% yoy), including Baltic states sales growth +5%. Wholesale was 1,406 thousand euros (+77% yoy) and e-com revenues 226 thousand euros (+92% yoy).
The franchise stores line saw addition of two new stores in December. Franchise partner Mirworld opened Ivo Nikkolo and Mosaic stores in Spain in Tenerife. At the end of December Baltika Group had 128 stores, among which franchise stores – 4 in Russia, 3 in Spain, 2 franchise stores in Belarus and 14 operating franchise stores in Ukraine. Average month sales area of shops operated by Baltika decreased by 1% compared to the same period last year.
Sales revenue for 12 months totalled 55,506 thousand euros, increasing +7% yoy. Retail sales revenue was 49,893 thousand euros (+4% yoy), including Baltic states sales growth +8%. Wholesale was 4,984 thousand euros (+48% yoy) and e-com revenues 470 thousand euros (+72% yoy).
In connection with Baltika’s exit from the Ukrainian retail business and selling the company there (agreement was signed on 29 April 2014), the sales revenue of the Ukrainian entity is presented as discontinued operation. Sales announcement presents only the results of continuing operations unless indicated otherwise.
