Former North Carolina Biotech Center CEO Norris Tolson Joins Williams Mullen


RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 6, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that E. Norris Tolson, who has spent the past seven years as the CEO of the North Carolina Biotech Center, has joined Williams Mullen's Economic Development team in Raleigh.

Mr. Tolson is the seventh professional added to the Raleigh team since David Paulson became North Carolina Regional Managing Partner in August, and he reflects the firm's commitment to a growing presence in North Carolina, particularly in key sectors such as life sciences, health care, technology, and intellectual property.

Before that, Norris served in three different North Carolina cabinet positions: Secretary of the Department of Revenue, Secretary of the Department of Transportation, and Secretary of the Department of Commerce. . He also spent more than two decades in key leadership positions for DuPont and as a member of the North Carolina General Assembly.
