(Nasdaq:MCUR), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing a novel therapeutic platform to address chronic and hard-to-heal wounds, today announced that it will be hosting and webcasting its Analyst & Investor Day on Thursday, February 12, 2015, in New York City. Nissim Mashiach, President and CEO, Michael Molyneaux, Chief Medical Officer, other members of Macrocure's senior management team and Key Opinion Leaders from the wound care industry will present and participate in a question and answer session. The event and live webcast will begin at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time and is scheduled to conclude at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The objective of the event is to provide a comprehensive overview of the Company's Mechanism of Action (MOA) study, present patient and physician case studies, and review the wound care market and the science and technology behind CureXcell™.

Presentations will highlight the impact of CureXcell on angiogenesis, cell proliferation, extracellular matrix and tissue maturation.
