EXEL COMPOSITES STRENGTHENS GROUP MANAGEMENT TEAM TO IMPLEMENT THE GROWTH STRATEGY
MIKKO KETTUNEN APPOINTED SVP CFO, ILKKA SILVANTO APPOINTED SVP STRATEGIC PROJECTS
Mr. Mikko Kettunen, 38, has been appointed SVP, CFO and member of Exel Composites Plc's Group Management Team as of 7 April 2015. He holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Helsinki School of Economics.
Mr. Kettunen has previously worked as CFO with Maillefer Group based in Switzerland. Prior to that he has worked in several leadership roles in financial management and planning at Foster Wheeler Energia Oy and also gained experience at PwC Corporate Finance Oy in corporate analysis and valuation as well as M&A through several disposal and acquisition projects. Mr. Kettunen succeeds Mr. Ilkka Silvanto, 63, who has been appointed SVP, Strategic Projects, effective as of 7 April 2015, and will continue reporting to CEO and being member of Group Management Team.
– In order to continue executing Exel Composites’ new growth strategy, we are now able to strengthen our Management Team with Mikko Kettunen, having great experience from international companies’ financial planning, analysis and management, and also from supporting companies’ turnarounds and working with M&A projects.
