PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J., Jan. 13, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MISTRAS Group, Inc. (NYSE:MG), through its Power Generation Group, is pleased to announce that it has signed a five year contract with PSEG Nuclear (NYSE:PEG) to provide Nondestructive Examination (NDE) inspection services in support of both refueling outages and on-line activities to be performed at PSEG Nuclear's Salem and Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations, located in Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey.
The traditional and advanced NDE Services will include, but are not limited to, radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT, including ultrasonic thickness UTT), magnetic particle testing (MT), visual inspection (VT), liquid penetrant (PT), and others.
PSEG is a publically traded energy company with multiple subsidiaries. PSEG Nuclear LLC operates the Salem and Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations and oversees PSEG Power's ownership interest in the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station in Delta PA. PSEG Power owns 100% of Hope Creek, 57% of Salem, and 50% of Peach Bottom.
