M.Sc. Lasse Mannola has been elected new Managing Director of Takoma Oyj and Takoma Gears Oy. Mannola will start in his new position on March 2, 2015.
Current Managing Director, Ilkka Miettinen, has requested release from his position as of January 16, 2015 to assume other duties outside the company. Board member Tapio Tommila will serve as acting Managing Director of Takoma Oyj and Takoma Gears Oy until Lasse Mannola starts in his position.
Lasse has strong experience and an excellent track record in managing internationally operating companies and, especially, the development of sales. Among other things, he has served as Managing Director of Vexve Oy, Polarmatic Oy and GS-Hydro Group and in sales and marketing duties at Metso Automation and Ahlstrom Machinery.
We thank Ilkka for his great input in Takoma and, especially, creating the reorganization programme.
