HANZA Holding AB (publ) has given notice of termination to 18 employees in Åtvidaberg in order to increase profitability in a varying manufacturing environment and to support the company's long-term financial goals HANZA acquired KA Elektronik last fall, and has now integrated the operations in the Group's technology area PCB assembly, with manufacturing at three other locations in Sweden and abroad. To create profitability in a varying manufacturing environment, HANZA today gave notice of termination to a total of 18 employees in Åtvidaberg. "As previously announced, we have won several contracts in electronics, but we see also that the utilization rate differs between production units. Therefore we need to implement measures ", comments Erik Stenfors, CEO HANZA. "It is very sad to have to give notice, but our responsibility is first and foremost to create a safe workplace. It can only be done by HANZA long-term efforts to create a strong and sustainable profitability.
