EMRISE Receives $8.4 Million Order for Electronic Device Subsystems for In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFE&C) Systems


DURHAM, N.C., Jan. 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EMRISE CORPORATION (OTCQB:EMRI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, today announced that it has received an $8.4 million production order for electronic device subsystems for In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFE&C) systems to be installed in commercial aircraft.

The production order, which is for an existing, established product, is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2015 with shipments expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2017.

EMRISE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carmine T.
