Announcement by the Handelsbanken Board

Industrivärden and its main owners have today announced that they will propose
to the nomination committees of Industrivärden and its portfolio companies
certain changes ahead of the annual general meetings this year.

Among other things, the main owners will advocate the following changes:

- that the Chairman of the Handelsbanken Board, Anders Nyrén, be proposed as the
new Chairman of Industrivärden.

- that as a result of this, Anders Nyrén should step down from his position as
Chairman of the Handelsbanken Board.

- that Pär Boman, currently President and Group Chief Executive of
Handelsbanken, be proposed as the new Chairman of the Bank’s Board. Fredrik
Lundberg would remain as Vice Chairman and Anders Nyrén would remain a Board
member.

Provided that Handelsbanken’s nomination committee proposes these changes at the
forthcoming Annual General Meeting, and that the 2015 AGM resolves in accordance
with this, Pär Boman will be appointed as the Chairman of the Board.

An announcement regarding the new Group Chief Executive of Handelsbanken will be
made by the Bank’s Board prior to the AGM.
