The Options Industry Council Announces 2015 Spring Seminar Schedule

OIC launched its evening seminar program, the first one starting February 5th.


CHICAGO, Ill, Jan. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - The Options Industry Council (OIC) launched its evening seminar program for the first half of 2015, continuing the successful three-part series that was first offered in 2014. OIC will also host Advanced Strategies and Volatility seminars this spring.

OIC's evening seminars are presented across various cities throughout the U.S. over the course of three weeks (one class each week in the same city). OIC seminars are part of the Options Education Program, which combines live and online offerings along with a network of leading industry professionals to provide investors with comprehensive options education. Registration for OIC seminars doubled in 2014 compared to 2013 and attendance was up 50%. Attendees will learn about the benefits of investing with options through in-depth examples of basic- to intermediate-level options strategies. Options pricing concepts, exercise and assignment, as well as hands-on techniques such as entering orders, and managing trades will also be discussed. Seminars are free and taught by options market professionals.

The 2015 winter and spring schedule will offer 23 seminars from February 5 through May 14 in the following cities: Costa Mesa, CA; Houston, TX; Boca Raton, FL; Phoenix, AZ; The Villages, FL; New York, NY; Parsippany, NJ; Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA; Coral Gables, FL; Dallas, TX. All seminars will take place on weekdays from 6 to 9 p.m.
